Executive Functioning and Social-Emotional Learning

At the heart of our program is the belief that every child can build the skills they need to thrive—when given the right tools and environment. We specialize in supporting children who struggle with executive function (EF) challenges such as planning, organization, working memory, and task initiation, as well as those who need help with social-emotional learning (SEL) skills like self-regulation, resilience, and healthy communication.

Through engaging, horse-assisted activities, one-on-one instruction, and a developmental psychology–informed curriculum, we help children:

  • Break tasks into manageable steps and follow through with confidence

  • Practice self-calming and emotional awareness in real time

  • Strengthen problem-solving and flexible thinking

  • Develop communication and teamwork skills in a supportive setting

  • Much more!

IEP and Educational Advocacy

Every learner deserves to be seen for their strengths and supported in their challenges. We partner with families to create individualized, strengths-based learning plans and IEP proposals designed to help each child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

With over 10 years of experience in special and alternative education and a Master’s in Special Education, Kasey specializes in supporting twice-exceptional (2e) and neurodiverse students who may not fit neatly into traditional learning environments. The work begins by truly getting to know each child, their interests, talents, and learning needs, and using that understanding to build plans that foster both growth and confidence.

Our Services Include:

  • Comprehensive review of educational and psychological evaluations

  • Collaborative meetings with families to identify goals and priorities

  • Development of personalized recommendations for IEPs, 504 Plans, or alternative education pathways

  • Ongoing coaching and follow-up to ensure strategies are effective and empowering

We believe that confidence builds success, and that when students feel supported, understood, and capable, meaningful learning follows. Our goal is to help every child discover how they learn best and to ensure their educational plan reflects that potential.

Summer Programs

We offer week-long, small-group experiences where kids build confidence, learn horsemanship, and enjoy hands-on farm fun in a supportive environment. Campers participate in horse care, riding lessons, crafts, and outdoor exploration, including time at the stream and around the farm. Camps are led by Kasey, with limited enrollment to ensure personalized attention and meaningful connections.
