Our Herd

Sir Kensington - Nemo

The horse that started it all! Kasey bought Nemo off the racetrack when he was 2 and she was 13. Now, very many years and gray hairs later, Nemo has retired from a successful career as a Hunter Jumper show horse to help Kasey work with children. He is 24 years old, 16.2 hands, and has no front teeth!

Tater Trot - Phoenix

Phoenix is the oldest horse on the farm at 27. He is a Morgan, a New England breed of horse known for their intelligence and gentleness. Phoenix is no exception and he keeps us on our toes with his antics! Phoenix is 14.3 and the perfect size for someone who might be a little nervous around the bigger horses!

Razzle Dazzle - RD

Razzle Dazzle may be small, but he is mighty! At just 14 hands, he is the only true pony we have here. RD is 16 years old and loves any and all attention he can get! Because he is smaller, he is less intimidating for some of our younger visitors, but he knows enough to be fun for anyone to play with!

Mohawk - Momo

Momo is the youngest horse here, but he is definitely the biggest! At 17.2 and 6 years old, he aspires to be a lap dog when he grows up. Momo is the first to greet visitors when they arrive and will follow anyone around on the off chance they have time to give him a scratch. Momo is in training to do dressage and will join the program after he has a little more training under his belt!

Zuko

Standing at 3.2 hands tall, Zuko is a large presence on the farm. As our resident welcoming committee, he is very good at making anyone feel comfortable. He is also the steadfast protector of the barn, ensuring that no rodents set up shop in the hay. (We know Zuko isn’t a horse… we just can’t convince him!)
