Horse Leasing Program

Our Leasing Program offers students the unique opportunity to build a meaningful, consistent relationship with a horse of their own. Participants come to the barn once a week to learn about, care for, and bond with their assigned lease horse. This hands-on experience helps students deepen their horsemanship skills while developing confidence, responsibility, and independence.

Each leasing student receives a monthly lesson—either groundwork or mounted—with Kasey. Additional lessons can be purchased at any time for those who want to broaden their skills or spend more time learning.

Leasing students are always welcome at the barn. They may visit their horse any day of the week, even when the barn is officially “closed,” to groom, spend time, or simply enjoy quiet moments together.

Throughout the program, students learn a wide range of horse and farm care skills, including:

  • Feeding and basic nutrition

  • Grooming and general horse handling

  • First aid and wellness checks

  • Farm upkeep and daily chores

  • Routine equine care such as farrier, veterinary, and dental needs

  • Tack cleaning and equipment care

  • And much more

As students grow, they earn increasing responsibility and independence, always aligned with their age, readiness, and comfort level. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where students learn not only horsemanship, but also life skills such as problem-solving, empathy, and self-confidence.

A weekly commitment with lifelong impact.

Our Leasing Program gives students the chance to build a dedicated bond with their own horse as they learn hands-on skills like grooming, feeding, first aid, farm upkeep, and general horse care. For $150 a month, students visit the barn weekly, receive one lesson each month, and enjoy the freedom to spend time with their horse anytime—even on days the barn is closed.
