Farms & the Future: Eco-Stewardship on the Land
A Hands-On Environmental Science Program for Middle School Students
Tuesdays • 1:00–2:00 PM • 5-Week Series
Join us for an exciting, hands-on exploration of how farms interact with the natural world — and how we can protect it! In this 5-session project-based program, middle school students will become environmental scientists right here on the farm. Through soil and water testing, animal impact studies (including our horses!), and real-world problem-solving, students will uncover how farms affect local habitats.
Together, we'll investigate, design an eco-friendly farm layout, and propose real changes to make our farm more sustainable. This is science with purpose — rooted in curiosity, action, and care for the land.
For middle school homeschoolers who love nature, animals, and making a difference!

Predator or Prey?
A Hands-On Homeschool Enrichment Program for Elementary Students
Join us on the farm for a wild adventure into the world of predators, prey, and everything in between! In this interactive science exploration, students will observe real-life farm animals to discover what makes a predator different from its prey — from sharp teeth and stealthy movement to keen senses and camouflage.
We’ll dive into the traits that help animals survive and uncover how we can tell what they eat just by looking at their bodies. Are they herbivores, carnivores, or omnivores? Let's find out!
To wrap it all up, students will get creative by designing their very own animal — then challenge others to guess: is it a predator or prey?
Perfect for curious minds in elementary grades. Come explore, learn, and create!
